Dr. John’s advanced training began at Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he served as a Sports Injury and Rehabilitation Intern, gaining hands-on experience in both passive and active rehab for a wide range of sports injuries. He then completed a selective chiropractic internship at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, working side by side with primary care and specialty physicians and rehab providers as part of an integrated care team. That experience shaped how he practices today: collaborating with other health providers whenever it helps his patients get the best possible outcome.
From NFL and college athletes to weekend warriors just trying to make the local team, Dr. John loves helping people move and perform better. His approach is simple: find the source of the pain or restricted movement, treat it, and give patients an active role in their own recovery. His specialty is making the science behind treatment and rehab easy to understand — so patients can clarify their goals, follow a clear path forward, and keep progress going at home with simple self-care tools.
Outside the office, Dr. John is focused on faith, family, and community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Racine Family YMCA, and has previously served on the boards of Family Service of Racine and the Racine Founders Rotary Club. He enjoys weight lifting, connecting with friends, and grabbing moments with a podcast or a good book. Most importantly, he loves time with his wife, Molly, and their four children.
