The primary focus of your treatment will be to restore the normal position and movement of your spine’s vertebrae. We use three different adjustment approaches to help you feel, move and live better.

![]() Table-assisted |
![]() Instrument-assisted |
Chiropractors call this approach either Gonstead or Diversified
With this approach you feel pressure from the doctor’s hands. Generally, you feel a small movement of the vertebrae and hear a noise inside your joint similar to what you hear when you crack your knuckles. Tiny pockets of air that have built up in the joints of the spine are released.
Chiropractors calls this approach Thompson Drop
With the table-assisted approach you feel less pressure than the hands-only approach. During the treatment the table will make a mechanical sounding noise when each table piece moves. You don’t hear any noise inside your joint.
Chiropractors call this either Activator or Impulse
With the instrument-assisted approach you feel a gentle repetitive tapping sensation. The instrument will make a mechanical sound during this process. You don’t hear any noise inside your joint as well.
