A native of Racine, Dr. Dan excelled in football and wrestling at Case High School. He was an All-State wrestler at one of the most competitive colleges in the nation. After graduating with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology at UW Madison, he returned to teach physical education for the Racine Unified School District and coach wrestling at William Horlick High School. In the midst of pursuing a Masters in Education, Dr. Dan decided to make a change. He remembered as a coach taking his injured wrestlers to his dad for chiropractic care. He also remembered coaching a tournament and helping a wrestler whose back went out with his dad’s techniques. He knew it was time to respond to his dad’s request to joining him in chiropractic care.

Dr. Dan shows up everyday ready like it’s “game time.” He is singularly focused on each patient and how to help each specific problem with the right treatment. He draws from a rich heritage of seeing patterns and progression with patients. He benefits from the other doctors’ approaches and techniques. Winning is simply helping people get better. Hearing “I haven’t felt this good in years!” makes it a big win. For him, the work-day ends not when the clock says 5:00pm but when he’s finished caring for his last patient.

Personally, Dr. Dan loves being with his wife, children and grandchildren. Locally, he serves as the Chairman on the Youth for Christ board. Internationally, he has served as a medical missionary to Guatemala, Ukraine, Romania, and Venezuela. Whether it’s taking a walk alone, hiking in the woods with a grandchild, or splitting wood, Dan simply loves being outdoors. A lover of golf, he believes 9 holes is too short, 18 is too long, so 14 is ideal!
